Devaluation Airtel app levying usage fee on utility payments on Airtel Axis credit card

Airtel started levying usage fees on electricity bill payments while using Airtel Axis credit card on its app. Might add the same for other bill payments also.

Which version did you install on aptoide store? There's no 4.108.5

I installed 4.10.0.3 it I stalled & then on launching it auto closed after asking for permission to allow calls sms

Install the lastest version from that app
It will work

hello maine bhi airtel card le liya hai abhi deliver nahi hua hai toh payment kaise karu m axis app mein 5000 tak payment ka option on kardiya hai par jab payment karne jata hun toh otp vale page par missing contact info karke kuch error aa jata hai

Not just Airtel, Amazon, Paytm and almost all apps have started doing this with different names. Ques is, what is RBI doing?

I don't think RBI will intervene in this.

Though they're passing on MDR, they are labelling it as Platform fee / conv fee, which almost all businesses are charging nowadays.

i downloaded some older versions and tried them on my phone but when i go to pay my NDPL electricity bill they are not showing credit card option. Only wallet and UPI. even after pressing show more payment options. is anyone facing similar issue?

Does the Thanks app correctly fetch the details of MNGL piped gas bills?
After selecting MNGL and entering the BP number, it just says "invalid details entered. recheck and try again".

Does it not even show the bills if you don't allow them all the permissions they ask for?
The app kept on showing a message saying "there is a temporary block on this account" until I gave the permissions it was asking for and then the payment went through!

Now the issue is resolved for newer version but they removed the credit card payment option from older version of app

They aren't giving cc option on 799 recharge pack of jio but on 899 its available 😂. Can u please confirm for me ?

I am not able to see axis cc option in old app version (4.115.1) while paying electricity bill, but in new version on other mobile, it is showing with some charges.

Any1 using old app version can confirm if the cc option is showing for electricity payments or not plz?
