When I applied for the HDFC SWIGGY card via the Swiggy app on 23rd May 2025, it was promoted as a Lifetime Free Card with several associated benefits clearly highlighted, including:
Free Swiggy One membership for 12 months as a welcome benefit redeemable upon card activation.
However, after activating the card, I noticed that the welcome benefit for Swiggy One membership is now showing as only 3 months instead of the initially promised 12 months.

I would like to understand:

1. Why has the Swiggy One benefit been changed from 12 months to 3 months?
2. How can I avail the original 12-month Swiggy One membership that was promised at the time of application?

I ALREADY ESCALATED TO SWIGGY CS On Email. THEY'RE JUST SAYING
"Thank you for writing in and sharing the screenshot.We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.We have shared your concern with the relevant team, and we will get back to you with an update within 24-48 hours.Please feel free to contact us back in case you need any further assistance."

Every alternate days they're just sending same copy paste email after compliant.


Update: From Swiggy Grievance
To clarify, once you activate the initial 3-month Swiggy One membership benefit associated with your HDFC Swiggy Credit Card, the additional 9 months will be automatically credited to your account within 14 days. There is no further action required from your end after activating the first 3 months.

Just thought 3% via Flipkart was good when I finish using SBI CB for each month.
