Working towards a premium credit card

Hey,
I've heard lot of people here say that to get HDFC DCB, get a millenia and use it regularly. Does the same apply to other banks? I like Yes Marquee as I plan to travel once I move up in my career. Will it help to get a smaller yes bank card and use it?

The criteria of "Minimum Net Salary of INR 3 Lakhs per month" seems very far away for me, so I'm curious what's the best way to get it without that

Try to apply online and see the options you are getting. You may get some good card if you have decent credit score and credit limit in your other credit cards. I got Marquee without fulfilling the salary criteria. Before getting the card, do read through the forum pages on Yes bank cards on experience of others. Seems Yes bank service is not the best in the world. Good luck 😉
