1. Really earlier request was not addressed and they would have taken request now and you can ask them for the timeline. while talking you can record the call.
Also, there might be delay, with that time only they earn interest,
2. It is almost zero chance they can run away since it is online, moreover based on your PAN, if it is fetching cibil means, RBI backing might be there. hence no need to be panic.
3. Also with 24k, they might not run away, since you are able to talk to agent

4. I clearly understand human mentality moment something is not refunded, even with most trusted like amazon also, we would be panic for a moment.
If it is eating your mind tooooooooooo much, then you can proceed.

hem failing to properly credit payments. This could happen due to various reasons, including technical glitches, fraudulent activity, or even the app itself disappearing. However, the risk is mitigated by regulations, app security measures, and the ability to dispute transactions.

Here's a more detailed explanation:

1. Potential for Issues:
  • Technical Glitches:
Like any software, bill payment apps can experience temporary errors or outages that might prevent a payment from being processed or credited correctly.

  • Fraudulent Activity:
Hackers could potentially try to intercept or manipulate transactions.

  • App Disappearance:
There's a theoretical possibility that a bill payment app could shut down, especially if it's a smaller or less established platform.

  • System Errors:
Even with the best security, there's a chance of a system error preventing the payment from being credited to the account.
2. Mitigating the Risk:
  • RBI Regulations:
In India, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) mandates that all banks process credit card payments through the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS). This provides a centralized and standardized system for bill payments.

  • App Security Measures:
Most reputable bill payment apps use encryption and other security measures to protect transactions and prevent fraudulent activity.

  • Dispute Processes:
If a payment is not credited, most bill payment apps and banks have processes in place to allow users to dispute the transaction and potentially get their money back.

  • Card Tokenization:
Many platforms now use card tokenization to protect card details, further reducing the risk of fraud.
3. What to do if you suspect a problem:
  • Check your account:
Verify that the payment has been made and that the bill has been credited.

  • Contact the app's support:
If you suspect a problem, contact the app's customer support for assistance.

  • Contact your bank:
If the problem persists or if you have any concerns, contact your bank directly.

  • File a dispute:
If you believe a transaction was fraudulent, you can file a dispute with your bank or payment provider.
