Which Debit Card to use for Credit Card Bill Payment in May 2025

I have used PhonePe for the SBI VDC most of the time. The points get credited within 2- 3 days all the time. Mobikwik has been reliable as well. Don't know why people are trying out different platforms unnecessarily when these 2 platforms along with Paytm work perfectly without any issue.

Unipay has its own set of problems, so it's not worth the headache.

If you use only one platform all the time, then chances of account flag will be more.

I have used Mobikwik for credit card payment via VDC in all last 4 days. Got points for 1st and 4th May transactions. I think it is temporary delay due to Saturday and Sunday, and will be credited automatically/manually soon.
I got points for Paytm transaction as well. Don't know about Bajaj finserV as I did that transaction on 3rd May.

If you got points for the same dates then I guess your theory might be correct because of weekend.
Lets see if I get it, will update here if I do

Okay, now it makes sense. I primarily use only 2 cards and pay the full bill amount at a go. So, 2 transactions per month shouldn't flag out I think. Let's see.

because I tried multiple times but never got the merchant code 'freechuthil'

Yes just it checked it now
2nd May points now available only 3rd May pending.
Probably there queue processor died or has a high backlog.

The main wiki post says

According to the SBI Rewardz page https://sbi.co.in/web/personal-banking/cards/debit-card/sbi-virtual-debit-card it says

> Earn 4 Reward Points per Rs.200 spent online or in-store with your SBI Virtual Debit Card.
> Earn 1000 Reward Points on every 1 lakh spent online or in-store on your Debit Card in the financial year.

50k would receive 1000 Reward Points, which makes sense/ matches what's in the web page

The "1000 milestone bonus reward" is only applicable for every 1 lakh spent right? How will just the 50k spend trigger the milestone bonus reward?

@thomas.lunakutty till last month, it used to give 1000 extra points for every 50k spend. Not sure if it changed from this month.

After my post somebody did say they are also missing points on those exact days 2nd and 3rd May and got points for 1st and 4th, so we could see a pattern and understand.

He is asking you to have patience. What's wrong in it? Do you have any idea that he is an asset to this community and not a liability like many here. So choose your words wisely.

Have patience. SBI max. TAT for points is 120 days. 3-7 days is normal. It's not that the system always credit next day or within 2 days. You will receive for 2/3 by tomorrow morning or max. Wednesday evening. It has happened many a times where pts for two different dates were credited and not for dates in between and later they came automatically.

Here people like me have got their some pts after 4-8 months also automatically without contacting anyone.

Patience is the key. Accepting it or not is on you.
