Which Debit Card to use for Credit Card Bill Payment in July 2025

I received points on all the transactions with this merchant name today.

Just now paid 81500 CC Bill with the Merchant Name and received points instantly.

In current situation with no app working or charging a lot of fees, this seems a lot convenient with 0.60% charges.

you mean in direct phonepe app, by pain g 0.60% we can pay through 1dfc rpay card and get the points instant ?
Is the understanding correct ?

Zavo + Good Score total 3.5L failed transactions on 1st August, still not refunded. Pathetic levels of service as well.

My GoodScore failed txn of 2Aug got refund on 3Aug for ~8L

What is there is to lose ? try with some 100's and check whether the points are coming ? with keeping an eye on the merchant name mentioned...

I just tried to pay just Rs 200 through phnepay using 1dfc rpay card, it is failing (something went wrong) and no money deducted. tried twice.

Also if you can add some more options, like where to use Kotak 811 Super, Fi, etc. it will reduce the burden on poor S@ves@ge app and IDFC cards 😄

any one able to decode what is happening with good score + idfc .. why it is a hit or miss ? ideally if merchant name is same it should always give reward point

Yes, directly going to PhonePe app and paying the bill. Not entering OTP until and unless you receive "www.phonepe.com" Merchant Name.

You won't receive points on any other Merchant Name as far as I know except for the 'Recharge' one, this is not an excluded category for IDFC.

And you don't have to use any VPN service.

in OTP msg it will be simple 'phonepe' in lower caps
And on payment page 'www.phonepe.com'
