Someone posted about this concern of card charges debiting and after reading comment you just sticked that point here to make an excuse for your case. Good that you didn't say PMSBY Rs.20 is the reason for this shortfall.

Pls share your statement screenshot where bank has debited DC charges. Your due amount and the balance you had. Dare to provide proof.

You know what funny here is? Your resistance to accept your fault. That's funny. 🙂
It’s amusing how quickly some folks assume others are lying just because they’ve never faced a similar issue.

I don’t owe anyone a screenshot to validate a personal banking incident, especially not to those more interested in one upmanship than discussion. The point of my post was to caution, not to convince skeptics.

Funny thing? My issue was resolved, charges reversed, case closed.

The only thing still going in circles here is your obsession with being “right.”

If raising awareness is an “excuse” to you, maybe you’re part of the reason others hesitate to speak up.

Can I pay excess amount for cc bills in zavo through idfc first tap to get 10x rewards? Let's say I have 50k cc bill and if I pay it twice in zavo, will it work? When I tried second time, it is showing pending for me. Amount got debited but it is not reflecting in cc

Zavo typically allows payments up to the outstanding balance only. If you've already cleared your bill and try a second payment, it may get stuck as pending or even reversed, because there’s technically no due left. The debit may show up in your bank, but your card provider might not accept it, which can lead to confusion or delays in refunds.

Also, keep in mind paying more than your actual credit card bill on Zavo is not a safe strategy.

Don’t worry, this can happen if you're trying to pay your CC bill twice or if the backend server hasn’t confirmed it yet. Zavo reverses failed/pending transactions within 2–5 working days.

Understood. Thanks for the quick reply. I have a follow up question on this. I have already got 10x RPs since money is already debited. Do you think RPs will get taken back once the refund is processed or will it remain there as it is?

Then I guess we can use this trick to earn some extra RPs right 😛 I know there is a risk in this but you can get some extra RPs without spending a single penny
Abusing the system just leads to quicker devaluations.

Also nothing is stopping them from debiting those points later OR debiting your account balance in case of less points.
We've seen this with SBI, HDFC, Axis already.

They will take it back all at once when they find out. So don't worry. Banks become SBI. If unable to recover your pts will be made negative with either you to close that out by earning more pts for nothing or close account itself.

The main difference between 10K and 25K MAB account is

25K debit card online and offline combined 10 lakh withdrawal limits.

Free airport lounge access per quarter in 25K and No lounge access in 10K variant.

Do you know how this bug related to multiple welcome rewards got fixed?

People were blocking their IDFC Firstap RuPay Debit Card repeatedly and generating a new one each time — Wealth account holders were looting 8,000 and Private account holders 20,000 in welcome rewards every time.
