HSBC is on BBPS. So you can get it via IDFC DC on PhonePe, or SBI VDC on Unipay/Bill desk.

No because of 6012 MCC which is in exclusion list by IDFC. Email Amex/Billdesk/VISA/Master/Rupay team and ask them to change it to 5311. Pls pls pls, do it for us.

I think you are correct the category is being shows as "OTHERS" for the payments where the transaction name was "Phonepe Recharge". No rp were received for a 18k credit card payment transaction done yesterday via IDFC rupay card.

I have just paid Rs 100 from First Tap. Merchant Name WWWPHONEPECOM, Trans category "OTHERS" and Points credited instantly.
