Utilisation Ratio - in the event of EMI transactions

Hello Guys

I have hdfc credit card with a 75k limit. Recently I purchased one product which cost 29k and did 6 months EMI of Rs 5k each. So now can you tell me how do I calculate my utilization ratio? Earlier if we calculate 30% of 75k which is 22500 was my upper limit. Will it be the same or It will change? Please Help.

I believe 22500-5000, but I'm not exactly sure how CC EMI works.

so do you mean that I can spend 22500 above this 29k EMI which makes it 51500 But still, it will be counted under 30%?

Don't think about Utilization ratio, just pay your bills on time.

I meant EMI amount is around 5K. So 30% limit - EMI amount will be 22500-5000, which is around 17.5K.

Why will 29K be blocked?
Also, it's an HDFC CC so utilisation ratio is anyway not reported.

PS: I've not taken EMI on CC yet so I might not be the best person to ask this. But I strongly believe that this is the case and I'm pretty sure that 29K will not be 'blocked'.

And of course, HDFC doesn't report utilisation ratio so that's there.
