Query regarding credit utilisation ratio

I have 2 cc.
First is having 50,000 limit and second is having 15,000 limit.

In TF community everyone says that maintain 30% credit utilisation ratio.

I want to know that should i have to maintain combined credit utilisation of 19,500 (30% of 65,000) or i have to maintain card specific credit utilisation ratio of 15,000 (30% of 50,000) and 4,500 (30% of 15,000).

I had similar query. But I wanted to know in context of hdfc bank (if that matters). Shared limits in my 2 hdfc cards is 3L each but I've a utilization of 1.5L in one card and 40k in another. Totalling the combined utilization to 1.9L which is <30% of 6L. Is that fine?

It is the combined utilization that really matters. But you'd be well-advised to also stick to that at the card level, as I'd expect that might keep the individual banks happier -- and will help you close / deal with a closure of some card with much more ease. And for best results, keep it at < 10% instead of < 30%.

utilization ratio is calculated on CIBIL REPORTED Accounts' utilized amount of reported cards ÷ total allotted limit of reported cards.
if u have 2 cards 15,000 (is reported) & 50,000 (is not reported) and have utilized 12,000 from (15,000 wala card), thinking that it will be 12000÷65000= 18.5% utilization then it will highly impact cibil as it will be 12000÷15000 = 80% utilization. So be considerate of this also, as some cards re reported 4-6 months later.
