Users currently holding Amex Platinum Travel, Amex Platinum Reserve and Amex Gold Charge card are getting these offers.

For the heavy spenders, this is a great deal since you get multiple loyal hotel loyal memberships and do anything concierge service.

If you don't spend a lot of money but feel the points can help, you can still upgrade for the points.


If you don't need the points, you can get the Amex Platinum Travel or the Amex MRCC card which remains the best card for monthly spends between 6K-40K.

Confirmed with Amex customer care. After upgrading to Platinum charge, the Platinum travel will be closed, and there is no option to revert the change.

That’s what being discussed here. Customer care executives and chat agents are not helpful. I had same experience for 5 times from yesterday.

On upgrade request you get call from marketing team and they will confirm that both cards will be active as confirmed by @hrish88 & @Dr. Drake

Actually on opting for upgrade you’ll get an email and you also will get contact details. You can speak to them.

This is actually a good deal to hold both charge cards, which is not usual.

New Trifecta Plat Travel, Plat Charge, Gold Charge. Which will also provide a flexible option of Gold Collection.

In addition to that GC provided 1k extra per month on milestone.
So for trifecta
MRCC ,GC , PT is better
Having Plat charge just adds a flaunt value and lounge access to normal users.
