Just had a call with uni pay customer care and I came to know that they are coming up with a credit card launch from next month. All the existing cards will be converted to credit cards or they might issue new cards, the customer care executive is not clear about it. But she said that they are coming up with a credit card product from next month.

Any idea on which banks they have tie-up with??
I did not ask about it. I want to close my card and she took the request and told about credit card launch from next month. She said I can apply back after the credit card launch.
She asked me the reason for the closure and I mentioned it is showing as loan in my cibil.
If anyone want to get the other info you can contact their customer care and say as the card is showing as loan so I want to close it.
The customer care is saying that they are probably going to come up with a secured credit card powered by SBM bank. 😂
I have Uni too, just keeping it alive for emergencies atleast till i meet the goal of emergency fund. A couple more months until i close this one.
Can you share what you have recieved, as far as what I was told by the customer care they are planning to launch FD credit card powered by SBM bank.
But how will the existing customers get it without FD that what I am thinking 🤔
