Try with default theme (not Dark) or just try clicking randomly to the left of Chat[0]

If the chat bar at bottom is blinking, that means you have unread private chat/messages.
Any way to toggle disable / enable that chat bar. Providing access through the top left menu would be good.
click on that toggle disable icon at right side, do not use dark theme while doing it.
Thank you for your help. However, I don't see anything like your image for some reason. What I see is attached. The chat bar at bottom looks quite different, with no toggle option! What am I doing wrong?

Thanks. However, I don't see any difference in the chat bar (i.e. no toggle button) in the desktop mode either (please see the attached screenshot bottom).

The "Chat bar" at the bottom of the screen started flickering since yesterday... for both Desktop and Mobile..
Please look into this, it is a bit annoying..

I have disbaled it for the time being..

Today I see that the chat bar is off by default, with an "Enable Chat" toggle option button in the middle, and is out of the way down below. This is good, and works just fine for me. Pages also seem to load faster now. Thanks a lot.
Previously it used to be always present at the bottom of the screen where I'd frequently touch it inadvertently, messing everything up. As a consequence, I found myself accessing the forum on mobile less and less often. That is fixed now. Thanks again.
