Took the RuPay variant as well—hassle-free process. Scapia has been amazing in terms of its user experience, offerings, and designs. Just make owning it a bit exciting.

By default, they will send the physical card. Wait for their eMail and SMS. In their App, some features (card control options), will get activated ONLY after you receive the physical card. Just wait.
Not sure why, I generated my virtual card and instantly google pay recognized and connected it.
Sir, I already have their visa card, today got an option for their virtual rupay card, so I thought for rupay variant they will only provide virtual variant, thanks for clarifying sir

In T&C they mentioned, it is virtual card but under transaction limit, they mentioned you can activate only after receiving physical card...Not sure whether it is virtual or physical.
I am curious for the same.
If its a physical card then i can opt for this for my collection. And its free as well.
But says - its a free rupay virtual card, it says so when i go to click the accept button.
As for the features that needs physical card, maybe they gets activated after 5 days or something.
EIther way, this is not a 1 day deal. So i am happy to wait for yourself and others to confirm 1st before clicking on the comfirm button.

My take..Grab immediately if you want...HDFC Rupay was offered LTF initially and after few days, it was chargeable.....You can close the card through app, if it is virtual only
Scapia is now available in rupay variant along with visa. You can apply for rupay and can hold both the cards with shared limit.
No extra cibil hit, cc will be issued in seconds.
All existing benefits will remain. Same features as visa variant.
No joining or annual fees. Single statement for both cc.
Update the app to apply.
