Scapia Credit Card Now Open to All Federal Bank Users: Here is Why It is a Must-Have!

I currently don't have any Rupay cards. Should I get the rupay scapia one for UPI payments? I already have AU Ixigo for 0 forex and DCBM etc, so international (Didn't face much issues with DCBM acceptance on 2 trips) is mostly covered. Or is there any other better card for UPI payments?

Just checked. UPI payment above 500 are covered and 5% coins. So 1% reward rate.


Is this the best one for UPI? Or Can someone please recommend a better card for UPI payments? Which also works for smaller payments too!

Scapia continues to be nightmare.. Gets Rejection stating internal policies but no history with federal Bank till date.

My probable guess they may be counting enquiries for last six months and automated decision .

Well, rejected the third time for this card now.
Hold a savings account + Federal Celesta card with 4L limit.

They should have resolved it much earlier. Dunno why Federal acted like that. Got my card approved a month back. But I presume on 12 June they have started issuing twin card both in Visa & Rupay variant. Earlier it was either of these.

Just checked the card section and was surprised to see that they offering complimentary Rupay Card as well. And spoke to the Customer Care to check on the Airport Privileges and was informed that both the cards will be treated as separate entity to unlock the privilege that means you need need to either spend 10K on Visa variant or 15K on Rupay variant to unlock the the privilege.

Does federal bank allow multiple credit cards per user? I also face the same issue.

Perhaps it is like HDFC Bank where if you first take the co branded card like scapia or onecard, there is no way to get the core card.

If anyone managed to get a core card after holding scapia, please share your experience.

@parasf what is the vintage of your scapia card? Perhaps is it the cooldown period?

My scapia card is a 1.5 year old card

So probably it is not in cooldown period

Earlier I gave limit of 9.75 L, 6 months ago they reduced it to 1.65L (mass reduction of scapia card limit)
