RBL is now started decreasing Credit Limit Check yours

After my Zomato edition card was changed to shoprite card , I mailed them to close the same as I had no requirement for the same.

Although I was okey to upgrade it to some premium card via retention team.

Meanwhile , yesterday , they revised my credit limit and reduced it to 30k from 252k.

Should I close the card , as RBL cards are 100% useless ?

I was randomly checking RBL app, to my surprise, they offered LE from 52k to 1.27 lakhs (75k increase), i accepted on the spot. Currently having Icon.

same in early morning. got 75k from 25k.

Same for my father. I just checked his limit was 1.8L now revised to 30K.
And this was my father oldest card more than 5 6 yrs old i guess and till no late payment from my father..

I just checked now my limit was 261k now I see LE increase for 361k when I confirmed it now shows pre-approved instant cash unlock it . When I go back to home page still shows my previous limit 261k

I got that under exclusive facilities option.
They were offering LE without charges, so i thought, LE ke naam pe free mein jo jahan se mil raha hai lete jao 😂 😂

WTH IS THIS NONSENSE HAPPENING

Hi, Credit Limit on your RBL Bank Credit Card (XXXX99) has been revised to INR 47000.00 with effect from 30-06-2023.

How can they reduce the credit limit to less than 20% of overall limit!? 236K to 47K!?

I have given a request for closure of this card, anyway I never wanted a Shoprite card. Should have closed long back.

I also got same message. I.2 lacs to just 11000. Raised the request to close the card through phone call. Did you get any confirmation call from them ?

Even I received a SMS saying "temporarily" and later it became "permanent".

Just call the care and tell them to close the card. They will try to retain but you say to close and they will do it

I closed my card rbl shoprite 2 months back

I asked them to upgrade it into LTF Icon which they did, but they didn't increase the credit limit.
