Regalia Gold Queries regarding Regalia Gold Credit Card Add-on & Card Change

Hi TF Members,


I have two quick queries regarding my HDFC Regalia Gold Credit Card:

1. Add-on Card Billing & Limit
   
   • If I apply for an add-on card for my wife, how will the billing be handled?
   • Will the add-on card have a separate billing cycle or will it be combined with my primary card?
   • Also, will the credit limit be shared between both cards or will she get a separate limit?
2. Changing Credit Card
   
   • What happens if I decide to upgrade/downgrade or change my Regalia Gold card to another variant?
   • In case of upgrade/downgrade, what happens to the add-on card linked to my account? Will it continue, or do I need to reapply?

Would appreciate if fellow members can clarify these points based on their experience.

1.Add-on Card Billing & Limit

• No separate billing for add-on cards. All transactions in the add-on card will be combined in your statement.
• It's a shared limit. Just imagine the add-on card as a duplicate key for your actual card but with different number / pin.

2. Changing Credit Card

• As far as I'm aware, you'll receive add-on card also along with new changed primary card. But I haven't yet tried it.

Both cards same single bill
Once u get add on in any card whenever renewal or upgrade happens u will get same add on extension automatically under newly issued card variant too
