By that logic, why should we check at all?

Just pay all dues in time and hope for the best, eh?
Nope. That's completely wrong.

How would you know if they update something wrong? 👀

For example my CIBIL showed wrong name (First Name and Last Name both same). So, I reported it through CIBIL. Got it fixed within a week or two. That's why we should check regularly.

The benefit of getting paid CIBIL is that you get a notification as soon as your CIBIL score is fetched by the bank.

The saddest part is, CIBIL doesn't update Account Information including the payment history from their end and would redirect you to reach out to the lender directly. And then there are lenders who do not accept their fault promptly even if the shortfall is at their end. In either cases, customers are the sufferer at the end. We will pay back on time and we only need to chase them in case something goes wrong at their end. Then being a responsible and loyal borrower doesn't make any sense. Hypocrisy at its best!
