Recently stayed at Novotel Kolkata and wanted to share my experience.
Novotel has a hotel and residences style property in New town Kolkata (close to airport). The property is really large and has kitchenette-style studio apartments as well. I stayed for a night and was given a complimentary upgrade to the studio apartment without asking. The staff was nice and friendly. The food was okay-ish. I had dinner and drinks along with 2 friends and charged the bill to the room.
Room tariff with breakfast - 5000 INR
Drinks and dinner - approx 8500 INR.
Paid via 7000 points and 805 INR in cash.
