What are the eligible payment methods to pay an insurance premium?
You can make an insurance premium payment through Amazon using your Amazon Pay balance, Net banking, debit card and UPI.
However, from your 6th or higher Insurance premium payment in a calendar month, you can only use Amazon Pay UPI as the payment method.
Why are credit cards not available as an option to pay for Insurance bills?
Due to internal guidelines, credit cards cannot be used to pay the insurance premium bills.Please use rest of the payment methods to pay the bill.
This restriction devalued ICICI Amazon Pay card also, which was giving unlimited 2%. Still Amazon pay gift card is acceptable.
Will others apps like Paytm, MobiKwik, Freecharge, PayZapp also follow this?
