No Limit Enhancement offer for IDFC Credit Card

I received my IDFC credit card on December 16, 2022, with a limit of 40k. Despite using it regularly, I have never received any limit enhancement offers. Additionally, I have a savings account with IDFC.

I was not using IDFC credit card for some time and yesterday used it to pay for Fuel at petrol pump for 2947₹ . got limit increase offer from 2.30 lakh to 2.64 lakh just next day after the transaction.

Last month I called them regarding this and they said currently they dont have a system for auto limit enhancement. But if you request CC, they take a request, need to share salary slip and they will provide LE.

Yes, of course! But make sure to pay that off as well, or at least 70 to 80% of it before the bill generates. Otherwise your score would be affected.

In my case , I was able to the transaction in November 2023 using the limit and paying it again and using , but after November 2023 this method has stopped working . Contacted the bank , they are saying that bank rules have changed .

Just call cc and ask them if you’ve any offer for LE. They will approve it immediately if you’ve. Mine increased by 15%.

This works only if you have a pre approved LE offer on your card. Else, it will just throw the message, offer not available.
Better option is to talk/email to customer care and try for LE.

Ya I m holding for more than 1 year but now I decided not to increase the limit as my usage is very low in idfc n will increase my hdfc cArd since it's primary
