[Need Advice] Credit Card Portfolio + Bank Account Optimization

[Reposting here with a few updates as this section is more appropriate for the topic. Originally asked in: Forums > General > New Member Section (For TF Neo)]

Looking to restructure and optimize my LTF credit card portfolio and banking relationship based on current usage. Need suggestions for next best LTF cards and path to super-premium cards in the future.

  • Age: 23
  • Monthly Salary: ₹1.80+ LPM
  • CIBIL: ~783 (stagnant for a while; no loans so far)

  • HDFC Bank (Salary Account - Preferred)
  • SBI Savings Account

ICICI:
  • Coral
  • Sapphiro (Dual Variant – Alumni)
    • Shared Limit: ₹3L
    • Usage: BMS BOGO, flight offers, occasional sales
HDFC:
  • Swiggy
  • Millennia
    • Shared Limit: ₹1L
    • Swiggy: Food, groceries, dineout
    • Millennia: Utility bills, general spends

  • ₹15K–₹20K → Food / Groceries / Dining
  • ₹10K–₹15K → Online shopping / BookMyShow
  • ₹5K–₹10K → Bills / Utilities
  • Domestic Travel: ~6+ flights/year

  • Planning to add a Rupay LTF credit card to earn rewards on UPI spends
    • Currently considering Tata Neu Infinity (Rupay)
    • Open to better LTF alternatives
  • Exploring if I can add a travel-oriented LTF card(despite limited travel)
    • Use case: ~6–8 domestic flights per year
    • Would appreciate suggestions on which card to choose and how to get it LTF
  • Currently focused on LTF-only cards
  • Want to position myself for future super-premium cards (HDFC Infinia, Axis Magnus, etc.)

  1. Best LTF Rupay cards for UPI rewards?
  2. Any smart LTF additions based on current spending (looking to start the credit card journey with other banks too)?
  3. How to get the limits of my credit cards increased, as these limits are same which I got with my previous salary (1 lpm).
  4. Is HDFC worth continuing as primary bank for future offers and upgrades or shall i consider axis?
  5. Tips to improve CIBIL score from 780 to 790+ (no loan history yet)?
  6. How to build eligibility for super-premium cards down the line?
  7. Which travel-oriented LTF card can complement my portfolio with low travel (~6–8 flights/year)?
  8. I work for a big MNC, are there any exclusive credit card offers similar to alumni benefits offered to college graduates?
PS: Some great answers are already in the original thread, but I’m hoping to hear more opinions by posting it in the right section.
Apologies if this isn’t ideal as per community guidelines — happy to adjust if needed. Please let me know.
