Read all these post already 4 months ago.and I am not in hurry will wait for better update.

I have one more question ❓

Like after suggestion from community,I have mentioned wrong occupation detail ( GOV JOB , SALARIED , annual income 7-10 lakh per annum)
Also select like I work in DEPARTMENT OF POST, which is a gov institute/ company.

What should I fill in future in occupation place during apply of PRE-APPROVED cc .
Will it be problem in future if I give same fake occupation detail during apply of cc.

Till now there is no occupation detail mentioned in my cibil or in any credit bureau.

You are confusing between pre-approved offers and upgrade offers...Both are different...In upgrade offers, there is NO CIBIL hit.

Nope i got my first HDFC card which is Millennia without CIBIL hit. Those are offers shown when everytime I enter my DOB.

When you get the offer, Apply it from RM or credit card department from your branch. There will less likely for a verification.

Nope, my card has been delivered few days ago and started using it.

Not sure why HDFC is giving special treatment to you....Others are not getting this special treatment.

Personally i do not trust 90% info on public forums as it is misleading and wrong....For any HDFC credit card offer, they make CIBIL enquiry as they confirmed through email.

check through CIBIL portal...You are checking through some app which shows wrong info or not updated...Some app shows Experian report not CIBIL..My experian report has 2 enquiry and CIBIL has 15

Your CIBIL must be having 50+ enquiry

That's not how it works. Apps don't show the info themselves randomly, they pull the info directly from CIBIL/Experian. So no matter where you check it should be correct "for that day"

Some app shows Experian report not CIBIL

Onescore shows both CIBIL and experian. I have shared CIBIL.

No. Onescore/Gpay/Cred report pulls latest info from cibil only so that is correct and updated info.

Also there is possibility of no cibil hit (rare case but possible) because of pre-approved offer.

You are talking about generic application which leads to cibil hit but if you have pre-approved offer and if you check list of cards by through net banking offer link then no CIBIL hit. This is confirmed by other members

The impact is minimal for someone with a credit history over 5 years. But, for someone new, the CIBIL score is likely to decrease in the next report.

CIBIL hit as soon as they checked your application. I don't think there is any logic behind checking CIBIL after they approved the card. It's highly unlikely!

I don't think that's how it works. Pre approved offers are based on your profile. If you are checking with PAN and there was a CIBIL hit that may be not be pre approved, so yeah technically they will show whatever card they want.

Over-time your pre approved will refresh. So when you check with DOB like mine went from Swiggy LTF -> Moneyback paid -> DCP paid -> DCP LTF -> Millennia Paid. This is how it went everytime I checked. I now got Millennia LTF card delivered without CIBIL hit.

Don't be so happy...There will be hard CIBIL hit if you only go ahead and check the offer.....It is available for everyone.....I was unaware and check twice and there were 2 CIBIL hits....Pre-approved offer is just a trap.

You should wait for upgrade offers.

Same thing happened to me, I got 4 CIBIL hits for checking HDFC offers.... Then I didn't know much about credit cards
