How u got Core Card?

Via Paytm app during Freedom LTF offer. It was the only channel through which I was allowed to apply and submit the completed application. Offline/C2C denied by RM and BM, online denied by "You have recently applied for" message. Before that when it was allowing online or offline, it declined as "application could not pass through the thorough scrutiny process for best-in-class experiences and services" 🙄If only I hadn't fallen for the Business MoneyBack trap, I wouldn't be this late to get a core HDFC card working on discounts. Should've been on Millennia or Regalia Gold by now. Definitely a major REGRET taking Business MoneyBack as the first card, and then closing it leaving only cobranded since they refused to upgrade it many times.

EDIT: As of June 2025, I got Freedom upgraded to Millennia. So now have Millennia FYF, Swiggy LTF, Neu Infinity LTF, Pixel Play Visa+RuPay LTF, and UPI RuPay. Next target from HDFC would be PhonePe Ultimo if at all they give. Every year they seem to be launching new credit cards now and there are too many to get/handle

4. IDFC Wow (Was very useful during foreign trips. Exchange rate was not hiked.)

1. Closed HDFC IRCTC CC (was getting ₹500 worth milestone benefit every quarter) to get a core HDFC CC.
2. Applied for Indusind CC and couldn't finish the application since it asked for income docs.

APay: Limit enhanced from 70k to 240k
Airtel Axis approved with a limit of 210k.
Pixel Play Rupay LTF.

Regrets: Tata neu LTF declined.
Looking for a better card but my MB+ says: "you have the best limit...,best card"

Delights:
Started my CC Journey in 2024

1. Got Axis Ace and Neo as first cards, went on to close Ace after devaluation, using airtel axis now, better card for my airtel Black Plan.
2. Got SBI Card for Sale discounts.
3. Got Regalia Gold in Feb which is in process to be upgraded to DCB Metal at this time.
4. Got AMEX MRCC and Gold, racked up 67k points so far.

Not thinking to apply anything else for now, might close gold charge after first yr.

Regret:
1. Haven't yet caught up with miles and transfers game.

Get Amex Plat Travel, Gold (never imagined I would be using Amex in my life)

Regret:
Get Amex Plat Travel, Gold (turns out one doesn't really need to complete 1.9L/4L/6x1000 milestones to stay in a branded hotel, 20k is more than enough)

Delight: Became aware of the CC universe at the beginning of the year. Got a few good and trash cards. List in my profile details.

Regret: Chased HDFC branch RM from Feb-Nov for Infinia/DCB. Got DCB metal approved by corporate RM within 2 days of applying.

How did you get Flipkart as LTF?

Their own employee did the misseling (told the card is LTF while it was paid). I had the call recording which I sent to Axis after I received the card. They made it LTF.
