There is no standalone app for this.Every bank will have his own erupee app and during registration linked bank account will be used for kyc and fund pulling.

From where Hard Cash comes in your Wallet ?

Bank is the sole entity who manage and is responsible to circulate cash in the Economy.

RBI is there to Monintor them and take action if something goes Wrong

When Physicsl Cash is being circulated by Banks then , E-Rupee is digital Cash , then who will circulate E-Ruppe ?

Still cannot understand what is the advantage of Digital Rupee for consumers over their bank accounts, which will give them at least some interest. The end functionality will be same in case of both. I think they will now make upi payments chargeable and this digital rupee payments will be free

This one is a cool project but a DUD imho .
It essentially eliminates Banks not in the interest of banks to offer CBDC
If they can integrate with UPI with a hybrid QR that will work because to use this you technically unlearn UPI

I am an active user of CBDC, how it works all I know, but if UPI plays a role of intermediate and why not bank account transfer? There bank is not playing a role? That's my question.

It's not that much easy to eliminate physical notes .But still if 10% people shifts to digital one then it's kind of big success.
