Hey! Thanks for your reply. It seems like these airlines are just providing so subpar services. I mean in this 21st century when everything is going digital . These people are just increasing the turnaround time for the whole process.

Calling them is a task like Aeroplan or is it simple and it gets done in a smooth manner.

Yes, JAL seems to be a bit complicated - preselection of award type (between JAL's own metal, Partners and Alliance) & then further for partner, need to select individual airline. Then there is no calendar view and some more.

I have personally never called JAL. So cant help there.

Also, do tell me for which type of award search the error came up. If you do speak to them on phone, do share the experience and if they were able to view and book the particular award seat and solve the query.

though different alliance partners, they are partners and had always exchanged award availability

As far as I know they currently are not partners. And I doubt they have been partners in past. Perhaps it was ANA which is an alliance member of *A

Recieved my JAL membership card today. After around 35 days of registration. Now Its sad I didn't transfer any miles to JAL. 🥲
