Recently, i booked a to and fro flight from Bangalore to Hyderabad..The amazon/makemytrip/cleartrip was costing around 9,700 Rs after applying all the bank discounts whereas smartbuy final price was Rs 10,643

Check final price at the payment page...Base price is almost same for all..Final price is revealed only on the payment page because smartbuy knows that user has already made his mind to book....Let's fool him now.

Dude, what are you saying? The final price will only include the convenience fee, and Infinia will also earn 16.6% on that convenience fee.
Plus, the base price isn’t the same either.
noob question - Is smartbuy same as Payzapp? If I have payzapp app installed, is it enough if I go in the app and book flight tickets using the Shop option present in the app? I have seen different smartbuy links for different cards, like infinia, regalia gold etc.
Do we really need to go to those particular card specific links, or just the app will take care of it?
The app will take care of it. With Payzapp->Shop, you can shop and swipe anywhere you want, earning accelerated points based on your card variant.
For larger purchases, such as those around 1 lakh, I recommend placing the order directly on the website instead of using Payzapp.
