Infinia Infinia metal Upgrade Requests on Hold

I had Sent a cold email to HDFC seeking upgrade from DCB Metal to Infinia Metal as I have > 10L credit limit and over 15L spends in last 6 months.

Unfortunately it seems requests have been put on hold. Anyone has pointers to why? Or when would this get resolved? Any other alternative way I can get Infinia Metal.

I think you better take acknowlege that it's not your fault that they have stopped sourcing card this way as you have already achived the spending cretiera. Let them know that you'd following up in the same mail for the upgrade whenever it opens up and critera at that point of time.

I was talking to my RM in the evening regarding upgradation to Infinity and in the middle of the discussion, he too mentioned that Infinia issuance will be on hold soon.

I’ve spoken to my RM today, he informed me that there is some technical issues going on, many internal tasks are pending including card upgrade, resolution timeline they received is by 21July, let’s see if he’s correct on this.
