Infinia Infinia as the first hdfc bank card

I'm not an hdfc bank customer, and all my banking relationships are with ICICI only. I hold the epm and times black card - the second one I'll close after the first year.

I'm looking for guidance on how to get the Infinia card directly as the first banking relationship with hdfc bank. I meet their salary eligibility criteria, with net monthly deposits of > 5 lacs for the last 2 months. I would prefer not to, but I'm willing to open a salary account with hdfc, but not much more than that (Like fixed deposits etc. )

Going via the normal spend based route from another hdfc card isn't really in the cards for me, as that would be a significant step down from the kind of rewards I get from ICICI iShop.

Talk to any BM / RM.. there were incidents like these who got the card directly based on eligible salary criteria..
