Hello,

Infinia CC has been approved with 10 lac limit earlier this week, card is listed over mycards. Expected to receive it today/tomorrow.

Account and background: Imperia customer since last few years and it is a salary account. Started with HDFC in 2011 as salary account, in meantime had shifted to Axis/IDFC and again back to HDFC. Have 2 more saving accounts with HDFC tagged together under Imperia.

Meeting criteria for Infinia: Salary meets the criteria for DCB but not for Infinia. Was in discussion with BM (and CC team manager) to process application for Infinia using ITR (FY 24-25) which meets HDFC criteria and I am yet to file ITR for FY 24-25. In meantime, I was checking with BM last week, then he indicated that there is approval for Infinia for me. Visited the branch and he indicated that bank is running some privilege program and BM had received list of customers for whom the Infinia/Biz black was offered, I saw the email note.

Application process: CC team visited home and took the signatures on May 22nd, CC team submitted form on May 23rd, got notification on card approval on May 26th, CC team who submitted the form confirmed that card is approved with 10 lac limit on May 27th. Got SMS on May 29th indicating that card will be delivered in 3 days. No supporting income documents were requested by CC team.

Earlier CC association with HDFC: I had DCB (plastic) for few years , tried to upgrade but did not succeed. So closed the DCB ~ 2-3 years ago. Also closed Tata Neu Infinity CC with them, I think 1-2 years back.

not 2 cr but ~1 cr in March, must be for few days.
Oh, wonder how the eligibility worked for you. A friend who works in HDFC told me that the bank recently removed income eligibility for clients who have a 2cr balance+FD, so thought thats how you got the card. Many branches aren't aware of it yet though.

Congratulations on getting your Infinia...!

You can read this thread here for some insights on Infinia and this thread here for some perspectives on credit card usage.

Best wishes to you to enjoy all that Infinia has to offer! 👍
