Hotel Points Infant reservation in Vistara

I talked to vistara premier care and asked following question:

Me: How can I book ticket for my 8 month old Infant for Ahmedabad-Delhi?

Vistara CC: Booking is not allowed for infants by passenger. You can call us and we will add infant. Approximate charge will be 2800-3000 Rs. There is no base fare for infant.

Me : 2800-3000 Rs is ticket price for adult on Ahmedabad-Delhi route. Can book separate ticket for my child using CV points or voucher?

Vistara CC: No

Anyone tips / suggestions?

This is the only way. Charges are 2500 for premium eco & 1300 for eco (+ taxes, fees).

Recently I have paid approx. Rs 513 as taxes for Ahmedabad-Delhi premium economy. Now I have to pay 2500+taxes for my infant child. And CV points & vouchers can't be used. Strange vistara policy.

Just add your infant as a nominee as a 2-year-old & book an award flight, while check-in no one going to ask infant id, I have done the same with my 1 year infant.

How much CV points did you pay for the award flight, same as an adult or less??

It’s same as adult but it saved me money as otherwise I had to book via cash. I also booked 3 business class tickets via voucher and upgraded one award flight with 2 upgrade vouchers. Cost of one business class was 33k 😂
