IndusInd Pioneer Heritage Metal Credit Card: Now with Zero Forex Charges – A Game-Changer for International Spenders!

I think no one else can answer this question except you. You can select the voucher based on your requirement.
Travel vouchers are discouraged as discount will not be applicable.
Thanks for the reply.Yes for travel i dont want to use it as i am already using smartbuy hdfc (holding infinia metal).Don't want to use on other international brands as mostly i will buy bags and other accessories from Ajio / Amazon. If tata cliq would have allowed gold coins purchase from gift cards that would be the best bet.

Which vouchers did you finally purchase? Nykaa also has gold coins but the vouchers T&C mention that vouchers cannot be redeemed for gold coins but someone posted on twitter about redeeming the same on gold coins.

which one did you opt for?

I am having indusind exclusive savings account and maintaining around 1cr as TRV (family banking). Recently i was offered heritage metal card with the condition that i need to open pioneer account with them.I was ok and got the heritage metal card with one time fee of 1L (LTF from 2nd year onwards). This special approval i got based on my last 4 years relationship with them. Now i am figuring out how to make best use of the 1L vouchers 😄
can you confirm if the 4 free moview tickets in a quarter offer works only on the Primary card or its seperate 4 for each add on as well?

It is possible , nothing is impossible in banking world.
See. Bank will ask for NRV. Basically bank wants to ensure that they earn atleast 1 lakh from you every year through NIM, MF or LI.
Therefore it makes no financial sense to give so much money to the bank.
Instead by paying the one time JF, we get the vouchers.

Friends,

In an era where most major banks are scaling back on credit card benefits, IndusInd Bank has made a bold move with its top-tier offering, the Pioneer Heritage Metal Credit Card. Effective from 5th October 2024, the card now comes with Zero Forex Charges, making it a standout option for frequent international spenders.

Here are some highlights that make this card incredibly attractive:

  • Zero Foreign Currency Mark-up
  • 2.5 Rewards Points per ₹100 spent internationally
  • Value of 1 Reward Point = ₹1 cash credit
  • No Cash Advancement/Withdrawal Charges
  • No Late Payment Fee, and No Over Limit Fee
  • Unlimited Domestic and International Lounge Access
  • Complimentary ITC Club Culinaire Membership
  • EasyDiner benefits: ₹6000 off annually on dining
  • BookMyShow perks: ₹16,000 worth of movie tickets annually (4 tickets worth ₹1000 each per quarter)
  • Unlimited Golf Lessons and Games
The rewards structure makes it the most lucrative option for international spenders, especially given the zero-forex markup and the cash credit redemption ratio.

As someone who got the card through a special pricing offer, I can confidently say it's a no-brainer for me. The value-packed features are hard to ignore.

However, the question remains:
Is it worth the investment of ₹1,80,000 + GST as a one-time joining fee (Lifetime Free thereafter), or ₹90,000 as the joining fee and ₹25,000 annual fee thereafter?

What’s your take?
Took it at 180000+GST. Then opted for Vouchagram vouchers and Oberoi vouchers. Totally worth it for me. I've made the remaining amount back and then some in the 2 years I've had this card.
