IDFC First Bank Mayura Super Premium Credit Card & Ashva Premium Credit Card (Both Metal Cards) Launched

Most probably, tie up with district for idfc completely. Easier to maintain all their cards on one platform for BOGO than multiple platforms.

Wealth , select and power with other cards were already on district. Now mayura and Ashva are also moved.
District is also on signing spree with banks to promote.

Earlier Paytm Movies acquired by District by Zomato, now they have to increase presence across cities.

My Points:
1. IDFC is likely securing better discounts through the District app, mainly because there are fewer competing bank offers compared to BMS.
2. However, District’s theatre coverage is still limited. Nearly 80% of halls aren’t on the platform yet. So, most users either can’t use the offer more than once or don’t find a suitable hall, leaving the offer unused.
3. District should prioritize onboarding more theatres before locking in exclusive deals with banks. While banks are already bleeding money on BMS offers, they need to realize that, at the moment, no platform truly competes with BMS in scale or usability.
 
Customer care of District is one of the worst. I dealt with them once during Starbucks offer, after that it took more than 3 months to get my money back. ( 3900 Rs )

Transaction was successful on their app, but on Pos of starbucks, transaction was timed out. Starbucks said they didn't received money.

District also refused to acknowledge that they have received money, when it was clearly shown on their app that transactions is successful. When I raised chargeback with PNB & bank shared finiding that District has received money, they started process for refund & then also they keep giving excuses & delayed refund.

Then I complained on INGRAM portal, after that they replied to consumer forum that they are processing refund within a week but then also delayed by a month & required regular follow up.

So dealing with their customer care can be a uphill task.

I deleted their app & will not use again irrespective of any lucrative offer.

I wish there was better alternative of BMS and District both.

If I book 4 tickets then they charge convenience fee for all 4 tickets. And if the ticket price is higher then it increases convenience price too.

Something like flat fee feature would have been great.

I believe BMS doing good in this case, they never increase the prices of ticket but to show extra clearly to us. Its upto us whether that is within our range or not.

Theatre price same as BMS price and extra conv. fee is to run website, servers and paying salaries.

Unlike swgy/zomato where they increase price of food items compare to restaurant prices and extra various charges without any transparency.

80,90rs as papar bag packaging charges where if we go to that restaurant its 0 and prices of food items higher than restaurant prices by blaming restaurant but clearly they're doing that..

IMO, there are many other places that need honest actual pricing + conv fee/flat as clear as glass.
