Ideal Credit card for Income Tax Payment - Discussion

Can anyone please suggest me the best credit card for tax payments for minimum charges and maximum rewards (if any)?
I’ve almost all banks credit cards.
AMEX MRCC, Gold
Axis Vistara infinite and 5 more
Bob Eterna and few more
HDFC Infinia, DCP, Neu Infinity and few more
ICICI EPM and many more
SBI Elite and few more
IDFC Select
Also cards of Kotak, Indusind, Yes.
Don’t have any business credit cards.

Got any information? or somebody else can guide?

SBI Cashback credit card give rewards (5%) on tax payments (income or TDS), as it is not mentioned in exclusion list?

Income tax MCC is 9311 and that's not mentioned in their exclusion list
So, ideally, they should be giving 5% cashback on ITR payment also

i have tried using it for IT payments...it doesn't give cb....pls try for yourself and update here if you get...

Can’t we raise that issue with RBIO?
As that particular MCC is not mentioned in their exclusion list

1. check mcc received by bank for that txn.
2. check that mcc excluded or not
3. if not excluded, complain to cs about why cashback not received for that txn.
4. if cs not able to help, raise complaint to rbio.

do not assume mcc based on other posts, check in written.

I googled for ITR MCC, it turned out to be 9311 (multiple sources).
I checked SBI CB T&C, 9311 was not in that list

thats not valid, mccs do change day by day and depends on payment gateway. So, only sure way do the test txn or failed txn and find mcc.

Anyway, if mcc is 9311 and its not in excluded list, eligible to escalate pno and complain rbio.

Looks like, UPI payment is the safest option to go for
I don't have BizBlack and I can't even apply for Amex Plat travel now (new application stopped) 🙁

I have used HDFC gateway and mcc code has been always 9311.

Yes still there with charges
