Will the grocery cashback of 10% applicable on UPI payment as well or just 1%?

How % cashback is on UPI spends thru these card ??

I got the live+ card 1 month back. The cashback card looks interesting, since my grocery spend is more than maximum limit of live+ card. Any idea if there is a cool off period for HSBC for applying the cashback card, since I got Live+ just one month back.

Even i have the same doubt. Customer care team are also not clear. They just kept saying online and offline grocery fetches 10% and when I ask for UPI, they just repeated - online and offline grocery fetches 10%. They were not ready to mention UPI explicitly.

For new card holders --> they used to deliver the card fast.

Existing users --> minimum 15 days.

I can tell based on my experience. 5 years back I got the Platinum card (HSBC visited our office).
After 2-3 years, I requested for cashback/Live+ card --> it took more than 20 days.

Now, I requested for Rupay Platinum --> I am sure they will take a month. The agent said, wait for next 3 weeks after that you will get the status for delivery (The card approved on call itself).

RUPAY SCAN & PAY has two things - OFFLINE & ONLINE
OFFLINE - 1%
ONLINE - 10%..they must give..otherwise no point in issuing a RUPAY variant

Cooling period is 180 days, I applied for Rupay cashback card last week and my application got rejected as I got live+ card in the month of Feb 2025
