I have never faced this issue. I have bought vouchers and did MMT hotel transactions as well.

How did you use vouchers in Smartbuy? In Smartbuy, I guess you can use only HDFC cards for gaining accelerated reward points.
And yes Smartbuy has convenience fee whereas traveledge doesn't have currently.
I wrote I bought vouchers using Smartbuy. Payment I made via HDFC CC only.
While buying vouchers no extra fee was charged.
Yeah ok, Smartbuy Gyftr doesn't have any extra fee for vouchers except for Amazon pay vouchers.
Only Smartbuy direct travel bookings have convenience fee.
Yes, just tried booking an airline ticket via Smartbuy, it leads to other merchant websites. For me it showed Goibibo the cheapest and there was a convinience fee. Travel Edge doesn't charge such fee as it doesnt direct to any merchant website. However, prices in travel edge are a bit on the higher side.
