How to know bank locker is vacant or all full ?

If you go to any bank be it a psu or private bank . if they sense you are not going to give them business like ULIP or large FD or life insurance , they will simply say NO LOCKER AVAILABLE SIR .

I enquired about 10-15 banks in locality . if I ask them my waiting list number , they will say “ there is no such thing sir” .

since they are showing no locker availability we can not complain to higher officer or RBI .

my query is how can we know actual number of vacant lockers in a bank . they are not bound to disclose it though .

You can complain to RBI BO. Just that your communication with bank should be in written form, so that you can attach to the complaint. Whichever branch you visit, get branch manager's email id. If they don't provide branch manager's email id, get any ones email and send a mail asking the same. See below.

(not talking about ulip or fds as those are for bank employees not for bank locker)
