Hi everyone,
I filed a complaint with the RBI Ombudsman over 4 months ago, but till today the status is stuck at “Complaint Registered with RBI and sent to Regulated Entity.”
The last correspondence I got from RBI (from crpc@rbi.org.in) was about 2 months back. They simply forwarded me the bank’s reply and asked if I had any further comments to add. I did reply with my comments and clarifications against the bank’s statements, but after that total silence.
Has anyone here been through this process? How long does it normally take for the Ombudsman to take an actual decision or action? Is this kind of delay normal, or should I escalate it further?
Would really appreciate insights from members who’ve dealt with RBI Ombudsman complaints.
