Is there way to accrue loyalty points on settling marriage related event at 5 star hotels. For eg. Green Points at ITC. Please do share your thoughts. Also please do suggest hotels in Delhi (Central/South) based on personal experiences.

Same question here as well. Want to throw a destination wedding at a 5 star. Got Magnus and Atlas for this purpose as well. 😛

ITC Jaipur booked all the rooms of the hotel under one name only and attached Mariott Bonvoy ID. So, by doing this you can attain Ambassador Status.

This imagination is too good to be true. They may have some restrictions. Also Lacks of green points will be required.

Please read the fine print on what actually counts towards Ambassador status.

From what I can recall regarding MB, you still won't qualify for Ambassador even if you hosted a large event on the property.

To get Ambassador, you need to satisfy 2 conditions - minimum spend + elite nights

Minimum spend you'll hit with the event but you won't hit the nights requirement (unless you're already a Titanium and close to Ambassador nights requirement).

On a group booking even though you can get the points for upto 3 rooms, you still only receive 1 night credit towards the nights qualification (for the 1 room in which you stay).

Marriott has significantly changed the loyalty benefits on hosting events or marriages.

You are entitled to get only 1 elite night credit for every twenty room nights booked and only 2 points per USD.

To qualify for Ambassador elite, you need to accrue 100 nights and $23,000 spend in a calendar year. Spends made on events or marriage are not counted towards the minimum spend requirement for elite status.

This might be very late but how does the Reserve card help with Titanium?

If one wants to earn Points then Accor, Taj, Hyatt & Marriott are the options.
Have done/enquired for events at these brands and have worked. Hyatt is my personal Fav!

Haven't enquired or done a event at ITC properties! So No idea on it.
Best to Reach out to the property and ask them directly!
