Hey Guys, I did a transaction worth ₹5000 from the EBIX prepaid card after loading the wallet with RBL Enterprise debit card. I was adding money in payzapp wallet. However, the transaction failed but I haven't received the refund. I've been trying to resolve the issue with both Ebix and Payzapp but Ebix says they haven't received the refund and Payzapp says that they have already issued the refund. Kindly help.

Is the EBIX prepaid card or Payzapp wallet under the authority of RBI Ombudsman?

Just wait 14-15 working days.

Now told ebixcash to apply for chargeback.
It's already 14-15 working days and refund has not been credited. I think there are more people with same issue. Kindly post a disclaimer regarding this on X.

I understand that refund is mostly credited within 7 working days and I've never faced such issues the past 10 years I've been transacting online. So there is some issue either with payzapp or Ebix and I think people should be aware about that.

I'm not a fan of using prepaid cards, but I recently opted for one because I wasn't completely confident using debit or credit cards on international gaming websites that offer game cards. I've come across various threads here, one of which discusses Ebix. It took me a long time to sign up and complete a transaction, as their website seems either broken or not fully functional. Eventually, I managed to complete the transaction successfully, so that was a relief.

However, two days ago, I found some remaining balance in my wallet that I won't be using in the near future. I decided to load it onto Mobikwik, but when I entered the card details, I encountered a 404 error page. I tried multiple times, but the same result occurred each time. What I'm trying to convey is that while the service works, it doesn’t mean it’s a scam; the site is simply not reliable. When a site is not dependable, it’s risky to transact amounts above 2000, as you may find yourself unable to retrieve your funds for a week or longer if something goes wrong.

I've not issued the word scam anywhere. I'm just trying to appraise people of the possible issue that may crop up using the EBIX prepaid card. Had someone told me the same earlier I would not have been inclined to use it.
