HDFC Bank is sending warning emails to some of their credit card holders suspected of engaging in commercial uses. According to the email received from HDFC Bank, they have sent warnings to cardholders who were found to be doing one or more of the following:

  1. Spending more in a single billing cycle than their assigned credit limit.
  2. Having a high number of orders or canceling no-cost EMI transactions.
  3. Making a high number of transactions towards a single merchant, among other reasons.

Therefore, if you are using your HDFC Bank credit card in any of these ways, please be cautious. It appears that many people may have abused their HDFC Bank TATA Neu Card, resulting in the accumulation of a large number of Tata Neu coins, which may be causing this problem. The individuals who have received such notifications are holders of the TATA Neu, Millennia, Regalia, and Diners Black cards. Although HDFC Bank did not specify any card names in the email.
