It's safe and quick but in case failure it's difficult to reach them if amount didn't auto reverse itself.
For me, no failure yet. My experience has been good so far.

HDFC platinum yes
Because of its poor quality, faced many failures and had to wait many days for refunds. Airtel failed txns are getting refunded immediately. Can't riks end moment large bill payments with sbinipay.
