Quick story — I recently got the RSDC by opening a Union Udon account, and yes, I also received a virtual RSDC. Earlier, I had a Digital Savings Bank General account, and due to that relationship, a bank employee I got close with helped me a lot.
Since I’m a Cost accountant( ICWA), I was eligible for the upgrade, but they couldn’t convert the old account. Instead, they asked me to open a new one and then close the old. The process was simple.
Tips from my experience:
Do the application using a computer, not a tablet or mobile.
You’ll get both physical and virtual RSDC, and I’m able to use benefits from both.
It’s super useful — I’ve benefited twice over.
