They told it's 1000. also they liened 1000 on my account i asked branch to remove lien from my account they're telling the lien will remain until you close your account. i also mailed to branch manager got no reply.

This is very wrong, they can't put ur money on lien for mab.
Raise to RBIO after 30days.

Interest loss for 10k MAB = 650₹
Card fee = 472₹
Total loss =1122₹ per Year

Some bank like Canara with this amount provide RSDC online without hassle

It means you didn't read the thread thoroughly. Card is FYF and from 2nd year onwards, downgrade a/c to 1k MAB so there won't be any significant interest loss. And card fee is almost lowest amongst all banks. So overall still worth it without Vdc.
