I am not able to generate virtual debit card itself...it has been more than a month since I received physical debit card.. tried multiple times .. it says some connectivity error
Any suggestions please

Keep trying. It will be generated. Bt not sure it will work or not

Deregister & uninstall Vyom app. Uninstall & reinstall. Register and login to app with physical RSDC. Then retry.

In union Bank rupay select debit card Is difficult to get. Only 4 accounts are eligible for rupay select debit card one being UNION UDAAN

Union Udaan eligibility -
Registered practicing Individual professionals - Medical & para medical professionals, Engineers & Architects, CA/ACCA/ICWA/CFA/CFM/CS, Lawyers, Consultants, Other professionals including artists, photographers, event managers etc.

Individuals: singly or jointly and in case of joint account professional should be the primary account holder.

AGE CRITERIA - 21-40

MAB- 10,000

Debit card- Rupay Select/ Visa Signature

Charges for rupay select Debit card- FYF with union Udaan and annual fees is 400+GST which is the cheapest among all rupay select debit cards.

(I did not gave any proof for being a professional as I am not a professional) Now to the main point how to bypass the eligibility if you are not a professional. Visit the best branch in your city. Now as you walk in don't mention you have to open union Udaan account. Try to find young employee in the branch.Tell him/her that I want to open a new bank account. Most probably they will open the account through computer not by form. Open the account through computer only (this is compulsory).Now they will ask for aadhar OTP after this mention them I want to open "SBPRO" account. In their system they will see SBPRO young professional. Tell them yes I have to open this account. Now usual process of account opening. Now mention them that you need RUPAY select ask them if they have Rupay select Instant kit (mostly likely they will not have the kit).They will give a physical form to sign.tick rupay and write select beside that.Get 10000 cash with yourself to deposit in the account. Which will help in to get fast verification of account. After verification which takes a day or two you will be able to make a online deposit in the account. Now in the last you can ask BRANCH TOKEN to enable your mobile banking. You will get 1 physical rupay select debit card. after the delivery of physical card generate virtual card in VYOM app. Most likely you will get a another Rupay select virtually which is LTF. Recently users are facing issues in generating virtual card. So depends on your luck now for the second LTF rupay select. If you are successful in generating virtual card you will get different card number in compare to physical so yes you can enjoy the benefits for Both the cards.

IF YOU SELECT PROFESSION AS OTHERS IT WILL FETCH CONSULTANT

One more thing you can choose your account number subject to Availability. I got _____0000001. I think branch Opened its first union udaan.

You can downgrade your account to 1k mab after few months. You can keep the debit card with downgraded account. But rupay select may not be FYF they may charge issuance fees which is 400+GST. So I will suggest you to maintain the mab for 1 year if you care about the charges

I opened this account for my brother. He is in 3rd year of BTECH. So most likely by following this process you will be able to open this account.

Edit - THERE IS A IMPOSTER ACCOUNT SCHEME AS "SBPRE". DON'T GET CONFUSED WITH It.

Edit 2- received the debit card in 4 days after applying. But not able to generate virtual debit card as of now. Will inform if the virtual debit card generates

EDIT 3- was able to generate vdc on 18 march. I got the rupay select variant with BIN 642414.

Yesterday I went to Union Bank but did not get the option to apply the uddan account. I don't know what's whet wrong.I am 25.
The banker was very helpful,he showed me his tab/mobile ,I too couldn't find the uddan acc type or SBPRO code.
Any suggestion? Anyone?

Yes so the problem with union udaan is the branch can't apply for this account online way.

I also faced a similar issue, the branch said that they will open account online and will then change the variant, but that didn't work. I wasted a lot of days because of this.

But the branch was helpful, she said they can open that account offline method. So, they processed it offline.

It took some approval but account was ready in 2 days. I guess mine was also first Union udaan in the branch as she said that the account number starting digits, she have seen for the first time.

So you can ask them to try opening Union udaan offline with physical form if possible and mention SBPRO or Union udaan.

You should ask him/her to open it via computer and they will have to choose union young professional option instead of SBPRO.

They have upgraded mine to SBPRE 😭😭 instead of SBPRO even though I repeatedly told them, this happened couple of hours ago.
I saw this when they are attaching the platinum debit card and told them to stop the process. but by the time account got upgraded to SBPRE
can any one help me here.

Upgrade/downgrade to udaan isn't possible from any other ac.
Only solution is open a new account

Opened Udaan Young Professional account today via offline branch.

Here is my experience:

Went to the MG Road branch Pune the person sitting at the counter didn't budge in opening the Udaan account he basically didn't had any idea on the rsdc and account type.

So went directly into the Chief Managers cabin he was good and cooperative and welcomed me with an open heart 😅

He asked for my degree certificate and company I'd I showed him and asked me to mail the these documents for account opening. He then called one of the lady RM and asked her to assist me on the account opening.

Lady was quick she gave me a form to fill took my aadhar and pan card xerox attached the degree certificate and company I'd to the account opening form.
She then logged in to the Finacle software portal from her desktop (UBI uses this software for their banking services designed by Infosys) entered few of my details on Finacle, entered product code as SBPRO and few of my professional details and boom my account number got generated with a customer id.

Account number was again xxxxxxx10000001 might be the first Udaan Customer in Pune or from that branch 😆.

Then that lady sent my for to another desk where another lady verified the account asked me to deposit 100/500 rs to my account initially (later told once my account is fully active you can then deposit remaining of 10000).

She then gave me the Rupay select debit card kit viola all done for the day 😅.

Chief manager was very polite and humble, was visiting me throughout the entire process, checking all the time if everything is fine and progressing on my account opening, good man helped me a lot in getting this account opened, he later asked me to refer this account variant to professionals in my circle 😄

You can downgrade/upgrade from sb udaan to others but not not vice-versa
