Youll have to open an account regardless. You can do c2c to open and they'll parallelly open account alongside.

If they push, then just say no. There's no requirement for an elite account to get a powermiles card.

Base reward rate is 3rp on 100rs spends, 3x rewards on forex spends, online or POS. No cap introduced yet.

Note: Points are valid for 3 years. Reward Points(RP) cannot be earned on rent payments, wallet loads, fuel, and government services.

Yes, we receive eazydiner 1 year membership and club marriot 1 year membership post the joining fees realization. There's also a 1.8L joining fee waiver within 90 days of getting the card, as confirmed by @akash2401. But I am yet to receive the waiver, if you can wait, wait till 17-18 of next month until my next statement generates.

Only if you can get the joining fee waiver this card makes sense.

For international lounge access you can signup on priority pass. I was just glancing over my old posts and saw them mention the tie up. Signed up and got an immediate priority pass generated inside the app.

Statement generation date, in your statement it will also show the transaction and reward points given for that transaction.

a)You get those when joining fees is charged in the first statement.

Eazydiner 1 year membership, can be stacked onto existing membership, no issues. You also get the 2000 bonus prime points on eazydiner since this is not a promo code but a voucher.

If you've an amex card I recommend activating the 1 year you get using it as well.



Just tried it, it works with any amex card.

b) club marriot membership - this is kinda useless for me as of now. But probably is of decent value of you're into Marriot Bonvoy bookings.

You will get both of these via SMS.


2) From what the card guy has told me (there's literally only one or two people in the entire bank managing the cards division), they're counting actual month rather than statement month for quarter tier determination. No clarity on it being our definition of quarter, say Jan-March and so on. I'm still in the blue tier but should be in the topmost one by end of this month, or maybe next since I've exceeded the 1L+ spends for last 2 months.

3) Not too much clarity like I said. I'm waiting for my tier to get active so I can know more as well, since the tier not only unlocks better reward value but also additional flight, hotel, amazon, BookMyShow vouchers as well along with unlimited domestic and international lounge access (latter is via priority pass, former maybe directly, can't add it on dreamfolks atleast)

Thanks, this helps a lot. True, tier part is the main game; otherwise, we have many cards offering a better value proposition. Great! I did not know about other vouchers, though. I was mainly thinking about reward value
