Emerald Private Metal Application, are they doing it correctly

My application is in pending status for last 4 days. Is this the correct way to apply for Emerald Metal? I am in T2 city and most likely my RM/CC agent won’t have an idea of credit cards. So he took my Aadhar, PAN and payslips and then applied. But still the application says pending documents. According to him its pending state head approval which may take anywhere between 8-10 working days. I don’t want to ruin this application.

If you meet eligibility criteria then no approvals are needed. State head approval if needed only in case of not meeting eligibility criteria or to make the card LTF. And in that case as well your RM should have secured the approval before the application

In short, they wanted me to have some investments with ICICI😉. They are now taking HDFC route to sell bulk ULIPs for EPM

I got my EPM just this week. Got it via Corporate RM. I had Amazon Pay ICICI card with 6L limit. No salary account or what so ever. Sent payslips

Sad to see the ULIP concept on ICICI. They might milk the customers with the demand they have for EPM.

Not more than 7 working days, except EPM.

EPM can be approved on 2-3 days or can take months.

I also applied without any relation with icici. Application was logged yesterday.

Net salary credit is over 4L/m.

Today the person who logged called me and mention she need addtional approvals for the card and need 7-10 days to get those approvals. Didn't asked for any commitment from my side atleast for now.

Let's see how that goes.

In EPM case, everything depends on willingness of RM/BM & their connection with upper management.

If they want everything can be done in 2-3 working days. But if they are not actively pursuing, it may delay for a month or more.

Other ICICI cards get easily approved.

Heard new application system will be processed within 2-3 days.
