DCB Diners Club Tools and Travel App - Priority pass Digital membership

I have a DCB card. While logging in Diners Club Tools and Travel app in the personalized section, I am being redirected to priority pass account. If I enter my card details there will I be charged?

Diners Club FAQ is unclear, HDFC bank Customer Care says Priority pass is anyway not required. So just wanted to understand if I will be charged or not?

U can't use ur card for others. Card name and boarding pass must match. U can add others as guest though. Magnus/Reserve pp has 8/12 free guest accesses.

For kids, sometimes they allow using ur card. Sometimes not. (And this is where magnus pp beats Infinia pp, as u can't get addon card for kids, but with magnus u can add them as guests).

Suvarnabhumi airport, Thailand. Miracle lounge. They allowed this in both domestic and international terminal.

I guess SEA countries like Thailand, Vietnam are more relaxed about this

Didn't work for me in singapore even for my mother, when I was there. I used 4-5 lounges in total. None of them accepted second card in my name.

I had an interesting case. I have an add-on DCB which was used in an international lounge recently before I registered on PP website. Now the name on digital priority pass is automatically matching add-on cardholder name and I'm unable to change it - since card number, cvv and expiry are all same and it gets usage history from previous visit.

I'll use my physical DCB next month in an international lounge and see if the name changes on digital PP as well.

Could you update about what happened? I have the same case where the name on both PP and Dreamfolks (for domestic lounges) is my addon card holder.

Recently registered my DCB card on Priority Pass website, works like a charm. It shows unlimited visits and expiry as December 2023. As a precautionary measure set international transaction limit as INR 1000 on credit card so that they don't charge me USD 99 as renewal fee.

Update on this- I used my primary card in an international lounge recently and now the name on my digital PP has changed from addon cardholder name to my (primary) name

I don't think guest visits are allowed. Usually lounges check for the cardholder name right ? You can take Addon-cards for family members that'll be safer option.

I had tried around August and it failed afaik Diners PP only works in international lounges.

Fwiw I used virtual pp after registering on my name using my brother's diners black card to get access in Dubai lounges last year as they were not allowing entry without my name on it.

Haven't got charged for it.

I already registered virtual PP using a Kotak Zen card. Now I plan to try my DCP to link PP to utilize the available lounge access. Is there any option to link another card to the same virtual PP as Dreamfolks do? I checked all the pages in PP app and I didn't find this link. Need to register again with another username?
