I received a WhatsApp message from cred that i can get something for 1000 cred coins ,at first i thought it would be like paytm 1 ruppee deal with exorbitant delivery charge for discounted/useless products, but as i went ahead i was able to order the product for not extra charges ,options for me was wired headphones ,usb c cable ,2 pack of rasins , a 200ml bottle of ghee ,some mystry skincare item
Ended up ordering ghee bottle
Curious to know anyone else got this offer ,
i haven't been using cred recently as i mostly use hdfc billdesk for card payments these days

Wow. I was using cred for CC bill payments till October 2023 (used to get less than Rs 10 even for payments of 40-50k) before i started using HDFC billpay after discovering TF. I uninstalled Cred in Dec 2023. Now I reinstalled the app looking for a couple of Vouchers and it's been showering me with cashback. Looks like it's some sort of retention offer.

And this link led me to mystery box (something like morning rejuvenating kit by cred tasters) for no cost by burning 1000 coins.

Timeline
November 2023 - Discover TF and shift to HDFC billpay
December 2023 - Uninstall Cred
March 4 2023 - Got 10 Rs cashback on random voucher spin
Got Rs 45 cashback on sending Rs 50 via UPI
Got Rs 10 cashback on sending Rs 50 via UPI
Mar 6 - Used 65 cashback to pay Rs 100 credit card bill and got another Rs 45 cashback
Mar 7 - Got Rs 50 cashback for paying Rs 51 via Rupay CC linked with UPI, another Rs 3 cashback on random spin
Used 98 cashback on Rs 1000 CC bill and got Rs 3 casback (back to routine i guess)

In total spent Rs 991 + sent Rs 100 to wife's account and got Rs 166 cashback

Yeah, looks like a personalised offer.

I have over 30 lakh cred coins and even if they offer a 100000:1 redemption ratio, I’d be happy. But they are as useless as my ICICI RM.
