Clarification Regarding ICICI Rubyx Credit Card Upgrade Offer

Hi All,

I have received an offer to upgrade my ICICI credit card to the Rubyx Mastercard (Dual Card), and I have a few queries regarding the same:

1. The offer mentions that the joining and annual fees are NIL — does this mean it is a Life-Time Free (LTF) card?
2. I currently hold two ICICI credit cards — Platinum and Amazon Pay. Which of these will be upgraded to the Rubyx card?
3. If a card is upgraded, will the old card be removed from my CIBIL report and the new card be added with a fresh open date?
4. The Platinum card is my first credit card, and I’d like it to remain on my CIBIL record for credit history purposes.
5. Before activating the new card, I would like to get written confirmation via email that the upgraded card will be LTF. Is this possible?

Don't worry whatever card you choose doesn't matter. Old cards stay active
